OLIVIA FRANCES TO PERFORM AT THE JOHN F. KENNEDY CENTER’S MILLENNIUM STAGE
The Nashville-based folk-pop artist will make her Millennium Stage debut this August
[NASHVILLE, TN - May 29, 2025] – Acclaimed Nashville-based singer-songwriter and musician Olivia Frances has received a coveted invitation to perform at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Frances will grace the Millennium Stage on Friday, August 22, for a special free concert showcasing her signature sound: nature-folk-pop. Her music resonates with fans of Joni Mitchell, Kacey Musgraves, and Florence and the Machine.
A multi-award-winning artist, when Frances walks on stage, her infectious energy and powerful stage presence capture the room. Her single “Breathing Room” won the Gold Award (1st place) at the W.A.M. Awards in 2023 and she has had two songs up for GRAMMYⓇ Consideration including, “Wind Chimes” for Best Americana Performance and “Somebody’s Reason” up for Best American Roots Song.
The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage is renowned for presenting world-class performances that are free and open to the public, with a mission to make the arts accessible to all.

The concert will take place at 6:00 PM ET on the Millennium Stage, located inside the Kennedy Center. Attendees are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance, which will be available on the Kennedy Center’s website in July. The performance will also be livestreamed.
