Introducing: Olivia Frances’ MAKE MYSELF LIKE YOU
Nashville-based, multi-award-winning, folk-pop artist Olivia Frances is set to release her first single of 2024, “Make Myself Like You” on Friday, February 23rd. The single showcases Olivia Frances’ versatility as she takes a turn from the typical love song or sad breakup song. Instead, she describes a less common topic: attraction. Why is it that sometimes we catch feelings for someone and sometimes we don’t? This is the sentiment that Frances muses upon as she sets the stage in the first verse and admits, “I just don’t feel the sparks between us, you know where they could be?” Frances self-reflects and realizes that this relationship is not going anywhere - no matter how much she wishes it would. This is a stripped-down, raw version of Frances where her captivating vocals and keen lyrics are front and center. With her candid storytelling and youthful sound, Frances glows in a similar sphere to artists such as Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Kacey Musgraves.
